I have recently worked with the Kent Association for the Blind Gravesend Art Group, viagra an art group that I established in March 2015 for blind and partially sighted residents of Gravesham and the surrounding area. As a group we joined forces with the RiverVoice Community Choir and St George’s Church, Gravesend.
On Saturday 14th May 4-6pm we welcomed visitors to enjoy and share in our celebration of the colourful artworks created by members of the Kent Association for the Blind Gravesend Art Group and hear the RiverVoice Community Choir première performance of ‘Remnants of a Name’ a new choral work by Tania Holland Williams.
It was fantastic to acknowledge the achievements of the group of sight impaired artists and hear RiverVoice, together with soprano Cathy Robinson and drummer Liz Hayward and other singers from the North Kent community.
The event took place at St George’s Church, Church Street, Gravesend DA11 0DJ.
You can follow the progress of the BPS art groups (Medway and Gravesend) here on the blog site that I write and keep up to date with our latest news.
